I’m always telling clients how important good footwear is for their overall posture, muscle and joint health. In my practice it is very common that I see patients with pain in their hips and lower back, knee pain and collapsed arches and so much of that is due to the shoes people wear. Common shoes don’t allow feet to do what they are designed to do, to splay out as they would if we were walking barefoot. Whilst thongs give space to the toes, they have no support for the rest of the foot.
My experience with iGUANEYE – as soon as I put them on I could feel different muscles working around my hips and right down into my legs and I felt I could walk and stride out more freely. I could feel how the shoe supported and shortened the arch of the foot to allow the muscles of the whole leg to function correctly. The rubber also allowed for lower shock absorption when walking on hard surfaces.
I recommend iGUANEYE shoes because as a Physio, correct muscle activation is so important to the overall health of our lower limbs.
